Abraham Lincoln’s Inaugural Journey by the NPS celebrates the 150th anniversary of the original journey made by Abraham Lincoln when he traveled to Washington DC for his inauguration in 1861. Stops along the route allowed groups to listen to and interact with Abraham Lincoln (performed by Fritz Klein). The book follows a diary format and includes both present day notes, original speeches, facts, and encounters along the way.
