The unveiling of the stamp and envelope will occur Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 in our library at Samford University. Once the image is available we’ll add it to this post. For more information, see the announcement of the documentary along with details of the stamp and envelope. Update: a video of the stamp is included on the announcement. Sorry folks, we’re having difficulties locating an image of the items. Until we find something better, an image of the envelope is on the Alabama Humanities Foundations website. Here’s a pic of the replica of the Monroe County courthouse cupola (that’s for the person who placed a sticky note with the question what is this? on the cupola) in front of our library. You know, the courthouse believed to be the one used in the novel.
