Round here, college football is everything. And, like any event, folks like to determine the economic impact of college football teams. The Center for Business and Economic Research of Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama just released the 2010-2011 Economic Impacts of the University of Alabama. Of course, the university has a variety of important areas of impact on the local area but with this being the state of Alabama, we have to look at impact of football. (Especially after the big game.) So, how much did each home game make for the state during 2010-2011? How does $24.3 million sound?
