The new George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum is officially open. Which made us think about the other presidential libraries and their papers. National Archives has the locations and websites for each library along with background information. For instance, did you know there are design standards for the libraries? Regarding papers of past presidents, most depository libraries have copies but you find so much more at the individual libraries.

Here’s a goal, as you plan your summer trip, see if you can include a visit to a presidential library. What a great way to combine fun and history!

Don’t forget to come to our workshop next week!

Plus discover how much energy you are using and how to save $$. We will finish with a look at our environment by learning more about local air quality, water conditions, health, and more. All of this will be accomplished by using customizable tools and resources offered by our federal government departments and agencies.
