The Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs held a hearing on the Lessons Learned from the Boston Marathon Bombings: Preparing for and Responding to the Attack. It’s interesting to hear how the communication barriers between local police and the FBI could have impacted the actual bombings. By that, we mean there might not have been bombings. The video of the hearing is available as well as full text of the statements and testimonies.

Here’s a possible research paper topic: communication between federal & local agencies.
